How do I speed up or slow down the existing song?

Change BPM in the bottom bar and listen again. Tempo in Create affects the next composition. If a clip does not follow a tempo change, check Follow tempo changes in its Inspector.

How do I change tempo at one point?

In Shape, click Show Tempo track. Click the tempo lane where the change should begin. Select the point and set its BPM and Instant or Gradual transition. Add another point with the old BPM to return to the previous speed. Right-click a point to remove it.

How do I move or split a clip?

Drag it on the timeline. To split, select the track, place the playhead at the cut, and click Split. With several tracks selected, clips crossing that position are split on all selected tracks.

How do I repeat a section, such as a chorus?

Enable markers using Markers Off. Place the green marker at the start and the red marker at the end. Select tracks, click Copy, move the playhead to the destination and click Paste. Include both voices and accompaniment for the whole section. Pasting does not move existing clips out of the way.

How do I remove part of a song?

Set the range with the markers and select the tracks. Cut removes the section and closes the gap in selected tracks. Delete leaves a gap. Select all tracks that must change together to preserve synchronization.

How do I delete a whole track?

Right-click it and choose Delete selected tracks. Select several tracks first with Shift or Ctrl. Unlock locked tracks before deleting.

How do I move precisely or protect edits?

Enable Snap to align movements to rhythmic divisions; disable it for free positioning. Use the padlock or Locked for tracks, clips or notes you want to protect. Unlock them before editing again.
