How do I export only part of the composition?

Enable markers, place green at the start and red at the end. Open Export ↗, enable Export markers A–B only and continue. Use Loop A–B to audition the range repeatedly first. Disable range export when you want the whole project again.

How do I save each instrument or voice as a separate audio file?

In audio export, enable Separate track files (WAV only) and choose a folder. Check Mute and Solo first: they affect which tracks are exported.

How do I move a project to another computer?

Open Project & sound from the three dots and choose Save with media…. Transfer both the project file and its accompanying media folder. Open the project in Melobytes Studio on the other computer.

Why is a track silent?

Check Mute, low Volume, or Solo on another track. For a voice clip, also check Mute this voice clip. Restart playback after changing the setting.

Why do the lyrics not fit the melody?

In MIDI Lab, the melody needs enough notes for the syllables. Choose a longer melody, shorten the lyrics, or use Join where consecutive syllables should share a note. Check whether any syllable has been assigned too many notes.

Why can I not edit something or hear a correction?

Check whether tracks, clips or notes are locked. Wait for ongoing work or recording to finish. After lyric or pronunciation changes in MIDI Lab, click Apply voices and restart playback.

Can I recover unsaved work?

Open Project & sound from the three dots and choose Recover autosave. If a copy is available, check it and save under a new name. Autosave is a safeguard; still use Ctrl+S regularly.
