Tools

Use the Tools tab for optional AI-assisted drafting, drawing properties and parametric tools.

Key

Sets the API key and model used by the optional AI tools and records the required acknowledgement. AI tools require your own API key and selected model; their use is billed separately by OpenAI.

Assistant

Generates an editable CAD script from a written description. Review the generated script before choosing Execute and placing its result in the drawing.

Parametric Shapes

Creates an editable, parameter-based drawing from a reference image and dimensions.

Properties

Opens panels for Object Properties, Layers, Blocks, Materials, Text Styles, Line Types, Hatch Patterns and Log information.

Vector Apps

Opens ready-made parameter forms for creating customizable vector geometry.
