Draw

Use the Draw tab to create geometry, annotation and bitmap content. Follow the on-screen prompts for the points or values requested by each command; press Esc to cancel an active command.

Point

Places a point object at the chosen position.

Line

Creates straight line segments from picked points.

Polyline

Creates a connected sequence of line segments.

Rectangle

Creates a closed rectangle from two opposite corners.

Arc

Creates a circular arc from the requested points.

Circle

Creates a circle from its centre and radius.

Spline

Creates a smooth curve through a sequence of chosen points.

Ellipse

Creates an ellipse from its centre and axis dimensions.

Elliptical Arc

Creates part of an ellipse with defined start and end positions.

Text

Places text using the selected insertion point and text settings.

Leader

Creates a leader line and label for annotating a feature.

Hatch

Fills a valid closed boundary with the selected hatch pattern.

Tangents

Creates tangent geometry for two selected circles.

Composite

Combines compatible selected curves into a single composite curve.

Bitmap

Places a bitmap image in the drawing at the chosen position and size.

Bitmap images remain linked resources. When moving or sharing a drawing, keep its generated _images folder with the CAD file.
