Overview
gsVideo2ASCII converts images and videos to ASCII Art on your Windows desktop. For images it creates a PNG image and a TXT file with the generated ASCII characters. For videos it creates an MP4 video and keeps source audio automatically when the source video has audio.
The Melobytes online Video to ASCII app supports quick browser generation up to 15 seconds. This desktop version is intended for local and larger-file workflows and has no app-imposed generation-duration limit.

Converts BMP, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF and TIFF image files to ASCII Art.
Creates both visual image output and plain text ASCII output for every converted image.
Converts AVI, FLV, M4V, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, WEBM and WMV video files to MP4 ASCII Art videos.
Processes multiple files through Add files or Add folder in the full activated version.
Controls ASCII density with Resolution and changes the character set with ASCII type 1 to 8.
Trims videos, controls output FPS and height, mixes the ASCII result with the original video frames, and supports command line conversion after activation.
